On the Friday of Labor Day weekend, I worked with a flooring contractor to replace the living room carpet with bamboo flooring. As if that weren't enough, then I packed for a camping trip! After that, we reached our campsite at the coast. Fatigued, I set up the tent and sleeping mats.
Remembering my dreams is easy in a tent. This time I dreamed of an engorged tick, the color of venous blood. He stood alone on the smooth new floor, just like the annoying drops of water on my new bamboo floor, I had seen earlier. I squashed him with my foot. This seemed odd, but necessary, for I don't usually squash insects.
