Writing Like a White Guy by Jaswinder Bolina
This kind of writing gives me a mental workout; I liked it!
"I'll come back and read it slowly," I told myself.

thread: Frontline on growing up online
>> Ted wrote Ivy about raising kids in this era >>
Hi Ivy,I enjoyed this show last night. I found myself re-interpreting Johanna's internet behavior.I look forward to discussing it with you.love,Dad

lol hi dad, I was only able to catch a little bit of it as the guys were watching some macho show. UghMaybe I should get a second TV. :)I did watch a piece on cyber bullying and how children take on these different personas online. Very interesting. I like to perform surprise reviews when Austin is online so I can see exactly what he is doing and how he is interacting with others. Very informative.

re: taking on different personaMy association:Norman Rockwell image of 8 year olds, up in the attic, before a chest of clothes, trying on different hats -- hats from the 1940's. This is a single image, but it expresses what humans always do -- well into adulthood."Playing (social) make believe" has always been fun. Internet makes it easier.
